Animated Dolphin Silhouette

Level- Beginners with lots of step by step instructions

This tag was made with psp version 9, but I think you will be able to do

this in other versions as well.

For this tutorial, you will need:

The silhouette dolphin tube and The palm tree frame

Download supplies here.

Open the dolphin and the palm frame up in psp. You will also need to open your layer palettes

because you will be playing with lots of layers.A easy way to open the layer palette is to type F8

on your key board.

1...Now open a canvas, by going to File then click New. A box will appear, use these setting.

Width = 350

Height = 350

Units: = Pixels

Resolution = 200.00 Pixels/inches

Image Characteristics = Raster Background “checked”

Color depth = 16 million Colors (24 bits)

Transparent = “checked “

Click > ok

2...Now we will want to change the foreground color to blue. To do this, click on the top small box.

A box will appear, you will want to change the setting as below.

R = 80

G= 102

B= 241

After you have changed, click ok .

Now we will change the background color. We do this the same way, We do this the

same way, but this time we will click the bottom box.

After the box comes up, change these settings to

R = 16

G = 62

B = 84

3...Now we need to change the foreground color to a Gradient. To do this Click on the

foreground color box.

A box will appear, there will be 3 tabs across the top, click on the one that says Gradient

and change the setting as below.

Gradient = Foreground-Background

Angle = 0

Repeats = 3

Invert = unchecked

Style = Radial

Horizontal = 50

Vertical = 57

Click ok.

The foreground box to the right should now look like the one below.

4...Now click on the flood fill tool on the right hand side

Flood fill the new canvas that you made by clicking in the box.
