Animated Glitter Snowman

9.... Now go back to the layer palette and click the one that says…Copy 2 of snowman 1. it

should be the one on top. Do the same as you did in step 8 but this time name it snowman 3.

After you are done, your layer palette should look like this….

Now we have 3 snowman and we are ready to add some glitter.

It is a good idea to save your work at this point.

10…. Go to the layer palette and click on snowman 3 to highlight it.

Now click on the Magic Ward tool  on the left side of the screen.

Now adjust the setting across the top of the screen like this

Settings across the top should be set as :

Mode = Add (Shift)

Match Mode: = RGB Value

Tolerance: = 10

Sample merged = unchecked

Contiguous: = checked

Feather: = 0

Anti-alias = checked

Outside

11….Now go to your snowman image and click inside any of the red parts where you would like

the red glitter. I glittered just the lighter red and the berries but you can glitter any of the red you  

want. After you click on the red parts you want you should see something like little ants marching

around the red parts.

12... Now we will want to open patterns and use the red glitter to color the red parts.

To do this …. Click in the center of the foreground box.

A box will appear that looks like this.

Now click the tab that says patterns.

Once you click this another box will appear, this is where you will set the Pattern to the red glitter.

Click on the tab where it says 1. A drop down box will appear. Now find The tile that says

red glitter and click it . I have it marked as 2. Now you will need to set the

scale as it is in number 3.

The angle should be set at = 0

The scale set at = 100

Then click ok at the bottom.

13... We are now ready to paint in the glitter. You will need to click on the paint brush tool to

the right of the screen

Now set the setting across the top like this

Size = 16

Hardness = 50

Step =25

Density = 100

Rotation = 0

Opacity = 100 

Blend Mode =Normal
